PROJECTED PROJECT POSSIBILITIES

Bookmaking (sew and bind sketchbooks, create your own book)
Shibori (running stitch, overstitch)
Fabric dyeing (fiber reactive and/or natural dying using plant based dyes)
Fabric painting ( Solarfast or Setacolor)
Marbling 
Weaving (small bags, wearables or wall hangings to start)
Knitting (small intro project, cup or pot holder, scarf, table runner)
Silk painting (DuPont and Jaquard dyes- large square scarves)
Recycled Project (use existing fibers and re-purpose them, this project is student choice)
Altered book (re-purposing an existing book with textiles infused throughout)
Paper making (recycling paper into new handmade papers)
Project runway BVW style (short design challenge projects that will be presented with limited materials, limited time, and a specific goal in mind)
Final project- (research based project of choice, must be fiber or textile based!)
